Improving wettability and adhesiveness
Resin, metal and glass are made hydrophilic by plasma treatment. This is due to the formation of polar (functional) groups, such as hydroxyl and carboxyl groups, or because dirt from organic matter is washed away, exposing metals and glass with high surface tension. In general, when the surface is hydrophilized, the adhesion is improved.
